About the Guide This is a pub guide, not a beer guide. Some pubs have great atmosphere and mediocre beer, some great beer but pretty dour surroundings. We do touch on the quality of food and drink and we confess we do like a choice of good whiskies. While pubs can get us to do a website for them and while we will accept ads - the comments are entirely subjective from the customers view.
